This S.T. Dupont D-Light Palladium Décor High Tech lighter, released in the mid-2000s, represents one of Dupont’s more contemporary engineering-focused designs. Produced between 2004 and 2006, the D-Light series is recognized for its streamlined profile, advanced ignition mechanism, and balanced, modern aesthetic. Finished in palladium with a brushed décor pattern, this model reflects Dupont’s technical refinement during the early 2000s while maintaining the Maison’s precision and reliability. Accompanied by its original box and papers, it offers both collectible appeal and practical usability.
This lighter was produced for only a two-year period, making it an exceptionally rare model with very limited availability today.
It features a highly distinctive and sophisticated hidden mechanism: by lifting the lever, the lighter emerges smoothly from the body, revealing its functional form in an elegant motion.
Additionally, a mechanical button located on the left side allows the lighter to retract seamlessly back into place with a satisfying click. This unique system not only enhances usability but also adds a remarkable and uncommon mechanical character, making it a truly rare and collectible piece.
