Crafted in France, Saphir Médaille d’Or Mink Oil is a highly refined formula designed to deeply condition and rehydrate dry leather while significantly reducing the risk of drying and cracking. Its non-greasy texture allows it to nourish and protect without leaving an oily residue, making it ideal for fine smooth leather, small leather goods, oiled leather, and oiled nubuck.
Derived from natural mink oil, its purity ensures it can be safely used on high-quality leathers that require intensive moisture restoration. Frequent light applications will maintain softness, enhance flexibility, and prolong the life of the leather. Because mink oil can darken certain leathers, such as nappa, it is important to test on a discreet area before full application.
Application: Remove all dust and dirt before use. Apply sparingly with a white cotton cloth in small circular motions and allow at least one hour for the oil to penetrate. Buff with a clean cloth to remove excess and achieve a natural finish. For best results, reapply regularly in light coats rather than heavy applications.
