This extremely rare early‑1970s Cartier lighter is crafted from solid 925 sterling silver and finished with a deep natural dark‑blue lacquer—one of the most sought‑after and uncommon lacquer colors ever produced by Cartier. This refined combination of precious metal and rich lacquer places the piece among the most collectible Cartier lighters from the Maison’s early production era.

Presented in the iconic oval Must de Cartier form, the lighter reflects Cartier’s dedication to elegance, precision craftsmanship, and timeless design. Preserved in good collector condition, it shows honest signs of age consistent with its history while maintaining strong visual presence and full functionality. Accompanied by its large red Cartier presentation box and original documents, this is a complete and increasingly difficult‑to‑find full set.

CONDITION GRADING
Excellent Condition. Very light signs of age or handling. Clean surfaces and strong overall presentation. Fully functional structurally sound.

This vintage lighter includes a 12 month working warranty, a rare benefit for pieces of this kind. The warranty covers functional issues that may arise during normal operation and the lighter will be serviced or replaced at no cost if a defect occurs. All service is performed by the specialist workshop in Italy from which the lighter ships. The warranty does not cover wear from regular handling, cosmetic marks, or damage from improper use. After the warranty period, we can provide the workshop’s contact information for future service.
