Vintage 1970 S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Large Diamond Head 20 Micron Gold Plated Lighter – Full Set

This exceptional S.T. Dupont Ligne 1 Large lighter, crafted in 1970, is one of the earliest and most desirable examples of the Maison’s iconic Ligne 1 collection. Executed in a luxurious heavy 20-micron gold-plated finish, the lighter features the timeless Diamond Head (Point de Diamant) pattern, one of S.T. Dupont’s most recognizable and enduring designs.

A particularly desirable feature of this early-production example is the original “20µ” hallmark stamped on the underside, confirming the substantial 20-micron gold plating used during manufacture. While later Ligne 1 models continued to receive the same heavy gold plating, many were no longer stamped with the 20µ hallmark, making early examples such as this increasingly sought after by collectors.

The elegant Diamond Head guilloché pattern enhances the rich gold finish by reflecting light from every angle while maintaining the refined appearance that has defined S.T. Dupont for generations. As one of the earliest Large Ligne 1 models, this lighter represents an important period in the Maison’s history and remains highly desirable among collectors of vintage luxury lighters.
