This rare S.T. Dupont Ligne D lighter, crafted in 1991, is an early production example featuring a refined Heavy 20‑micron 18k gold‑plated finish. As one of the first iterations of the Ligne D series, this model represents Dupont’s transition into more modern design language while maintaining its renowned precision engineering and luxury craftsmanship.
Early rare Ligne D models were produced in limited quantities, making them increasingly collectible among Dupont enthusiasts. This vintage lighter includes a 12 month working warranty, a rare benefit for pieces of this kind. The warranty covers functional issues that may arise during normal operation and the lighter will be serviced or replaced at no cost if a defect occurs. All service is performed by the specialist workshop in Italy from which the lighter ships. The warranty does not cover wear from regular handling, cosmetic marks, or damage from improper use. After the warranty period, we can provide the workshop’s contact information for future service.
