Vintage 1991 S.T. Dupont Jubile Early Limited Edition Silver Finish Paris Petrol Lighter Limited to 1500 Pieces

This beautiful vintage S.T. Dupont Jubile lighter was crafted in 1991 and represents one of the earliest and most significant limited editions produced by the Maison. Finished in a refined silver surface and marked Paris, this model belongs to the first official S.T. Dupont limited series, created to commemorate a milestone period in the brand’s modern history. The Jubile edition is highly regarded among collectors for its restrained elegance, historical importance, and limited production. Manufactured as a petrol lighter, it reflects S.T. Dupont’s traditional engineering approach prior to the widespread transition to gas systems. Production was strictly limited to only one thousand five hundred pieces worldwide. This example has never been filled and is therefore offered as untested, preserved in exceptional original condition and accompanied by its original presentation box.

“JUBILÉ”

In 1941, S.T.Dupont was inspired by a small accessory in one of the travel bags made for the Maharajah of Patiala, and launched its first petrol lighter, the “ligne 1” large model. This lighter with its 6 parallelograms recalled the objects and architecture of the 1930s and quickly became an essential item! Famous the world over, the S.T.Dupont lighter evolved as techniques developed, while retaining its original characteristics.

The limited series “Jubilee” was created to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of this lighter. It pays homage to the master craftsmen of the time, to patience and to the fine, delicate work carried out according to traditional methods.

This is a limited line of gold-plated and silver-plated petrol lighters: 1,500 of each.

The warranty covers functional issues that may arise during normal operation and the lighter will be serviced or replaced at no cost if a defect occurs. All service is performed by the specialist workshop in Italy from which the lighter ships. The warranty does not cover wear from regular handling, cosmetic marks, or damage from improper use.
