This S.T. Dupont Trinacria Limited Edition lighter, released in 2005, is a highly distinctive collector piece dedicated to the cultural heritage of Sicily. Crafted in the classic Ligne 2 format with a refined palladium‑coated surface, each lighter features a unique ceramic miniature inlay inspired by the hand‑painted ceramics adorning the historic staircase of the Church of Santa Maria del Monte in Caltagirone. As only 295 individual ceramics were reproduced, each lighter from this edition is effectively unique. Combining artistic craftsmanship with Dupont’s renowned mechanical precision and signature opening sound, this rare thematic release represents a significant modern collector acquisition.
A true one-of-one: the only known S.T. Dupont lighter featuring a hand-crafted Sicilian mosaic ceramic, adorned with an intricate floral arabesque motif.
