This exceptional vintage Cartier Les Must Pentagon lighter, crafted in the early 1970s, is one of the earliest and rarest examples of Cartier’s iconic Pentagon series. Executed in a luxurious heavy 30-micron silver finish, this remarkable model features an elegant guilloché engraved pattern, reflecting the refined craftsmanship and timeless design that established Cartier as one of the world’s premier luxury maisons.

A particularly important feature of this early-production example is the original 30 Micron hallmark stamped on the underside of the lighter. Only a small number of the earliest silver-finished Pentagon models were produced with the 30-micron silver plating, while the majority of later production examples were finished in the more common 20-micron specification. As a result, the 30-micron version is regarded by collectors as one of the earliest and most desirable Cartier Pentagon models ever manufactured.
