The purpose of this video is to show you how to take your unfinished edges and heels and refinish them to produce a highly polished dress edge and heel. There are several approaches one can take towards edges and heels.
Beginners: The Fiebing's Sole and Edge Dressing is a quick and easy solution. It effectively recolors, but there are limited color options (the brown is too light) and does not produce a high shine.
Advanced: the Saphir Cream Polish works great to recolor edges and heels when applied by hand. Then use the Saphir Mirror Gloss to lock in the pigment and elevate the shine. The Saphir Teinture Francaise Leather Dye also works great for recoloring before the application of Saphir Cream polish. This is Kirby's preferred technique.
