At Kirby Allison, we are proud to offer our Presidential Shoe Shine Service, a comprehensive shoe care service that follows Kirby’s renowned shoe shine technique, as featured in our Presidential Shoe Shine video guide.
This service is designed for shoes that require more than a surface shine. Each pair begins with a thorough cleaning to remove existing polish, residue, and buildup. The leather is then deeply conditioned to restore suppleness and hydration. Edge dressing and heel refinishing are performed as needed before the shoes receive a high-quality wax finish, executed using the same meticulous technique found in our High Shine service. The result is a refreshed, properly conditioned shoe with renewed depth of color, structure, and finish.
This service is ideal for shoes showing signs of wear, scuffing, dullness, uneven coloration, or buildup from previous polishing. While it significantly improves appearance, it is not intended as structural repair or full restoration.
Level 1 provides a light shine focused primarily on the toe area
Level 2 delivers a medium gloss with greater depth and clarity
Level 3 is a traditional mirror shine for maximum brilliance
You may choose to replace your shoelaces with Kirby Allison Wellington shoelaces. If selected, lace style and color should be noted on the printable service form included with your order confirmation.
Shoes should be packed securely in a sturdy shipping box. We recommend including shoe bags and shoe trees when available to help protect the shoes during transit.
After placing your order, you will receive a printable service form and shipping instructions by email. Please complete the form in full and place it inside the box with your shoes. Providing as much detail as possible helps ensure your shoes receive the appropriate care and prevents processing delays.
If you choose the pre-paid FedEx label option, the label provided is for shipping your shoes to us. If you do not select this option, you may use the carrier of your choice. The shipping charge at checkout covers the cost of shipping your shoes back to you once service is complete. Orders with multiple pairs will be returned together unless otherwise arranged.
Once your package arrives, it is logged and placed into our working queue. Shoes are not opened or evaluated immediately upon delivery. When your order reaches the front of the queue, the box is opened and work begins based on the condition, finish quality, and specific needs of each pair.
Because all work is performed by a single master shoeshine specialist and many orders include multiple pairs, total turnaround time from delivery to return shipment can take up to four weeks. The specialist will always reach out if additional information is needed before proceeding.
Rush service is available for an additional fee and allows your order to be prioritized ahead of the standard queue.
