Our Oxhorn Trays are expertly handcrafted by AbbeyHorn in the United Kingdom from genuine oxhorn sourced from Ankole cattle, a by-product of the meat industry in Nigeria. The unique thermoplastic properties of cow and ox horn allow it to be softened and shaped through heat, enabling the creation of the stunning horn products in our collection.
Initially rough and dull, the horn undergoes meticulous sanding and polishing to reveal a smooth, glossy finish, showcasing its remarkable natural colors and patterns. Each piece is truly one-of-a-kind, with no two trays sharing the same exact design or hue.
